Zinal offers excellent infrastructure and choice of activities both in the in the summer (300-km-network of hiking trails for keen walkers, and 150 kilometers of marked routes for sporty mountain bikers) and in the winter (ski area comprises nine lift facilities at altitudes ranging from 1670 m to 2895 m together with 70 kilometers of pistes trails). Zinal is also a popular destination for off-piste and cross-country skiing. Plans to link Zinal to adjacent ski regions of Grimentz have been confirmed, expanding the area to more than 150 km of pistes.
