Champery is the largest resort in the Swiss part of the massive portes du soleil region. With very close proximity to Geneva airport and to the lake Geneva, its direct train link makes it one of the closest Swiss ski resorts to the Airport.

Champery, although you can not ski directly back to the resort center, has a nice ski area which takes you directly into the heart of the portes du soleil, where you will never get tired of the skiing. The resort has a sport center and swimming pool, also a very attractive old village with all the facilities you may need, plus some very good evening restaurants, even some Michelin guide restaurants.

Summer and winter have endless options for sports enthusiasts and the varied and mountainous region on the door step are its main draw.

Property prices are above other smaller Valais resorts and central land for chalets is hard to find. If you can not find a property within walking distance to the main lift you will need to have a car.
