The two neighbouring resorts of Crans and Montana are situated at an altitude of 1500 m on a sun-drenched plateau high above the Rhone Valley. Together they form one of the biggest holiday destinations in the Valais. These twin towns have much to offer, including an impressive view of the chain of mountain peaks from the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc and a particularly wide programme of activities all year round.
There is the world famous golf course and many cultural events, coupled with boutique shopping and top class restaurants, Crans-Montana is a real 4* resort. Winter skiing from 3000m altitude down to 1550m, a large and very varied selection of pistes, plus winter walking on sunny plateaus, Crans can also compete with the largest ski-regions in the Alps, the four valleys. This resort is for us the best all year alpine resort in the alps, a big statement but it offers something for everyone which you will not find in most resorts.
Property has seen very good gains in the last 5 years and more buyers are looking to establish all year residencies in Crans, the resort grows from strength to strength and is very expensive if you want to be in or near the center, watch out for better priced future projects in the surrounding areas.
